From Da Vinci to Picasso, doodles

I just came across this news today that in Rome, an exhibition called “Scribbling and Doodling – From Leonardo da Vinci to Cy Twombly” is displaying am unusual number of scribbles and doodles from great artists ranging from the 1400 to today.

So very cool!

Hidden on the backs of canvases or scrawled on scraps of paper, doodles have allowed artists down the ages, from Michelangelo to Picasso, to test, explore and unleash their creativity.
